Blue Lagoon is, sadly, a loner sock. He has no mate. He came into this world when I was playing with dyes and testing out new colorways. I didn’t want to waste yarn on colorways that could end up disasterous, so I only dyed up 1-oz hanks of each. 1-oz, sadly, is not enough to make a pair of socks. Not even the skimpiest of socks. But I still love this one. I love the way the colors sort of stripe, but in a diagonal kind of way in the foot, and in a dual horizontal-and-vertical way in the leg. I’d like to try to duplicate this colorway again one of these days.
