For Christmas 2006, my friends Wes and Maggie gave me a gift certificate to my mom’s store. One day while I was home for Christmas, I spent the afternoon browsing around the store, and I fell in love with some new yarn from Colinette, Cadenza. So with the gift certificate in hand, I ended up with some wonderful new scarf yarn - the Cadenza and some lovely Cashsoft DK to stripe it with.
I’ll tell you, trying to figure out what pattern to use for this yarn took me ages. I probably started this project and ended up ripping it out at least a dozen times before I finally settled on feather & fan. I wanted something soft and feminine (they are very feminine colors, afterall), but I didn’t want anything too lacy, either. I’m rather pleased with the final outcome. And oh, Cashsoft, how I love thee. I can’t stop rubbing this thing on my face. :)
