I decided to make these gloves when my friend Eva saw the Autumn Fingerless Gloves that I was working on and wanted a pair of her own. Eva, however, unlike myself, is not self-destructive and doesn’t smoke or work outside when it’s cold, so she had no need for fingerless gloves and wanted a full-fingered set instead. This project was a nice and simple retreat from more complicated patterns, especially since I’d already done up a pair in this pattern just a few days before.
