this one’s for you, Helen
The other day my friend Helen pm’d me on Ravelry, asking if Manning Knits was still alive. Although we see each other on a regular basis, she misses the visuals of what the Manning girls are working on, and the inner workings of our lives. I’m afraid I was a little snippy with her, saying something to the effect that I was just too damn tired to blog by the time I had time to do it.
After a very long, busy week of holiday sale at Yarn Expressions, I’m finally taking Sunday off to catch up, breathe slowly, and share a few pictures.
I’ve been spinning

This is the November offering from the Hello Yarn fiber of the month club. Superwash Corriedale in a color Adrian calls “Toxic”. It usually takes me a while to get 4 oz. spun up, but this just sped by. I started it Wednesday night, finished plying it Friday night, and it was dry by Saturday afternoon. 195 yards, 11 wpi, it’ll make a nice hat, I think.
I’ve been doing other things too, but in the interest of not burning myself out, and saving material for another day’s post, I’ll stop here.
Elizabeth — this one’s for you.

You never were snippy with me! Never never! (Or, if you were, I’m too dumb to know. Take yer pick. :o)
Thanks for the post, and I hope the sale was wunnerful.
